The 2 Days Fes Merzouga Desert Tour is a guided tour that takes you through the beautiful desert landscape of Merzouga, located in the southeast of Morocco. The tour starts in the city of Fes, where you will be picked up and taken on a journey through the Atlas Mountains and the valley of Ziz. Once you reach Merzouga, you will have the opportunity to explore the desert on a camel trek and spend the night in a traditional Berber desert camp.

On the second day, you will wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes and then have breakfast before heading back to Fes. Along the way, you will have the chance to visit local Berber villages, visit the Todgha Gorge, and stop at the town of Erfoud, known for its fossil mines.

The tour typically includes transportation, a camel trek, accommodation in a traditional Berber desert camp, meals, and a local guide. It is a great way to experience the unique culture and natural beauty of Morocco while also getting a taste of traditional desert life.

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Desert Merzouga

Depart from Fes in the morning ahead to Merzouga across the Middle Atlas mountains through the cedar forests make a small stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) then ahead to Midelt for lunch and crossing the Ziz Valley stop for fabulous photos on a panoramic view where you can see a river of palm trees. We reach Merzouga before the sunset, After resting on mint tea the guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sand Dunes of the Erg-Chebbi, you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on the dunes and then arrive at your camp to spend the night in a luxury tent, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, there will be a fire and Berber people will make you dance over the fire and play drums.

Day 2: Merzouga – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez:

Early morning wake up for adorable sunrise then have a Berber breakfast then take a camel ride back, we’ll leave to Fes through Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains, make a stop for lunch in Midelt again, and continue by crossing from cedar forests. We will continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ to arrive early evening to Fes.
