One of the most exciting and unforgettable activities in the Sahara desert is an overnight camel trek. The adventure begins in the late evening at your hotel near the Erg-chebbi sand dunes, where you will meet your camels before setting off on your journey to your desert tent. Your camel guide will accompany you as you travel over the sand dunes and will be able to take some fantastic shots for you along the way.
You will arrive at the camp and be greeted with a drink of Berber mint tea and Moroccan pastries after a one and a half hour camel ride, with a pause along the route to enjoy breathtaking views of the sunset. After taking some time to unwind, enjoy a sumptuous supper while listening to live Berber music around a campfire beneath a gorgeous starry sky. The other day, we’ll wake you up early to enjoy the sunrise before sending you back to the hotel for a wash and breakfast after riding your camels there.
