8 Days tour from Tangier to Marrakech

Your driver will meet you at the port, airport, or your hotel in Tangier. Today is an easy day to relax and visit Tangier. You can walk around the old medina (old city), visit the Kasbah (old castle), and see the view where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. You can also visit the Caves of Hercules, a famous place by the sea. Tangier is a mix of Moroccan and European styles. You will sleep in a hotel in the city.

After breakfast, you leave Tangier and drive to Tetouan, a quiet city with white buildings. It is a good place to walk and see how local people live. Then you continue to Chefchaouen, the blue city in the Rif Mountains. This town is very peaceful, with small blue streets, shops, and cafes. You can walk around, take pictures, and enjoy the fresh air. You will sleep in a cozy riad in the medina.

Today you travel from the mountains to the heart of Morocco. First, you stop at Volubilis, an old Roman city with big stones and columns. It is a place full of history and nice views. After that, you visit Meknes, a small and quiet imperial city. You can see the big gate of Bab Mansour and walk through the old streets. Then you continue to Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. You will sleep in a riad inside the old medina.

After breakfast, a local guide will take you to explore Fes. The old medina is like a maze, with small streets, markets, mosques, and old buildings. You will visit the famous tanneries, where people color leather by hand. You will also see old schools, fountains, and the oldest university in the world. The tour is full of culture and history. In the afternoon, you can relax at your riad or drink tea on a rooftop.

In the morning, you leave Fes and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. You stop in Ifrane, a clean city with trees and cold air. It looks like a European town. Then you pass Azrou and see monkeys in the forest. After that, you go through the Ziz Valley, with many palm trees and small villages. In the afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, a town next to the desert. You will ride camels through the big sand dunes and watch the sunset. At night, you will eat dinner and sleep in a desert tent under the stars.

You will wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride the camels back and meet your driver. You visit Rissani, a market town where people sell fruit, animals, and clothes. Then drive to Todra Gorges, where tall rocks rise on both sides of a small river. It is a great place to walk and take pictures. After that, continue to Dades Valley, where you will sleep in a guesthouse between big rock formations.

After breakfast, you drive through the beautiful Rose Valley, where people grow flowers and make rose products like perfume and soap. Then you pass Skoura, a quiet place with palm trees and old kasbahs. You continue to Ouarzazate, where many movies were made. Later, you visit the famous old village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will walk through the narrow paths and learn about the history.

Today is your last day. After breakfast, you drive across the High Atlas Mountains. You go through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road in Morocco. The views are amazing, with big hills, small villages, and people working in their farms. In the afternoon, you arrive in Marrakech. Your driver will take you to your hotel or riad. This is the end of your tour, and you will take home many good memories and photos from your Morocco trip.
