4 Days from Marrakech to Merzouga

Depart Marrakech in the morning, traversing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Enjoy panoramic views and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a historic ksar known for its unique architecture. Continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the "Hollywood of Africa," before heading to the Dades Valley for an overnight stay in a local guesthouse.

After breakfast, explore the Dades Valley's stunning rock formations and then proceed to the Todra Gorges, a series of limestone river canyons. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where you'll embark on a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Witness a mesmerizing sunset before settling into a desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, depart for Rissani, a town known for its traditional market. Continue through Alnif and the Draa Valley, characterized by its palm groves and ancient kasbahs, before arriving in Ouarzazate for the night.
