Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Valley Of Roses – Dades Gorge:

We will pick you up at your hotel that morning in an air-conditioned van, and then will depart towards Ouarzazate, the Moroccan film capital. On the way, we will cross the Atlas Mountains and go through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass which is 2,260 meters high. Shortly, after crossing the mountain range, we will stop at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, an evocative fortress town where the Game of Thrones among other movies was filmed. After the visit, we will take the road of “1000 Kasbahs” to Skoura where we will have a chance to visit one of the intact Kasbahs, Amredhyle. Moving on, we will visit Kelaat M’gouna, the capital of the Valley of the Roses, where we will get the opportunity to see some of the manufacturers of their local rose products. Subsequently, we will drive to Dades Gorges where we will have dinner and stay for
the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Gorges Todra – Merzouga:

After breakfast, we will resume our tour towards the photogenic Dades Valley and cross the impressive Todra Valley where we will do some rock climbing or trek until lunchtime. After lunch, we will take the road to the desert town of Merzouga and pass through one of the finest date producers in the world, the Palmer of Jorf. From there, we will reach Erfoud, an interesting desert village, where we can visit a fossil/marble workshop and talk to some of the local people. After our visit, we will reach the Merzouga sand dunes, mount our waiting camels for a sunset tour, end up for the evening at the Berber campsite where our dinner will be served, watch the beauty of the desert night sky, and then turn in for the evening to one of the tents.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate:

If you are so inclined, you can wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes and watch the beautiful color changes of the sand as the light intensifies. After breakfast, we will drive by a different route to Ouarzazate. We will pass through the Palmer of Tifilalet and then reach the town of Rissani, the former Alawite dynasty capital, where we will have a chance to take in some of the local colors before heading off to Alnif. We will travel through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and will stop at various places along the road to take photos of the beauty of this area. We will drive to an important Berber village that we can visit, Tazarine, go through N’kob which has a Palm Tree Oasis, and head towards the Draa Valley which has an amazing palm grove. In the afternoon we will go through the Ant-Atlas Mountains by way of the Tizi n’Tnifift Pass, complete our day in Ouarzazate where you will check into the designated hotel/Riad, have dinner at your leisure, and then turn in for the evening.

Day 4 : Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech:

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel/Riad and then visit some of the sites of Ouarzazate including the historic Kasbah of Taorirt and the famous Atlas Film Studio. On the way back to Marrakech, we will travel through the High Atlas Mountains again and you will be escorted back to your Marrakech hotel.
